A way to escape

I've been watching TV since I can remember, so TV series have always been present in my life. Adolescence is something difficult that everyone experiences, so when I  started to enter into my teenage years, my passion for watching them became greater. TV series enables the viewer watching to absorb himself into another type of world. In my case, watching them meant that I could pretend to have another life for a few hours, or if I was sad it would cheer me up. I will also like to stress that nowadays, TV shows are able to present different matters, and topics such as homosexuality, or sexism in order to educate the audience, and this, in a way, is a new source of information/education. Due to all of this reasons, I find myself watching TV series continuously since they are a source education and a way to escape from reality.
