On September 17th, the Emmy Awards were held, which are presented annually as a prize for excellence in the American television industry.

As for the category of drama series, the series 'The Handmaid's Tale' was awarded with nothing more and no less than five awards. Best Drama, Best Direction, Best Screenplay, Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress.

The Handmaid’s Tale is an American tv show created by Bruce Miller based on the 1985 novel of the same name by the Canadian writer Margaret Atwood.

And even though it started as a book, a journalist from the newspaper 'El Confidencial' says: "The show is much better narrated than the novel. If you take away literature, many stories of great writers prove to be ill-told"
