BRYAN YORKEY 13RW

There is a 85% of chances that you've watched or at least heard about the show TH1RTEEN R3ASONS WHY and that is because of the impact that has had in society in the past few months. The responsible of all this is Bryan Yorkey, who is an American playwright, lyricist, librettist, screenwriter, and theatre director. 

Bryan was born in 1970 in Omaha, Nebraska, where he was raised, before his family moved to Issaquah, Washington. He graduated from Columbia University where he served as the Artistic Director of the Varsity Show. 

Apart from the show mentioned before, he is known for the musical 'Next to Normal', where he also mentions a mental illnes, in this case a bipolar disorder, and this is because he thinks that there's nothing that you can not talk about. With this musical he has won the 'Pulitzer Award' and 3 'Tony Awards'.

So we can say that thanks to Bryan people now sees the suicide from a really different perspective.
